Megan Foster MACP, RCC

Available: MONDAYS, TUESDAYS, AND THURSDAYS for IN OFFICE, VIRTUAL or PHONE SESSIONS

Megan Foster is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with a warm, collaborative
approach to therapy and a deep belief in the power of connection. With a Master’s degree
in Counselling Psychology from Trinity Western University and a background in Psychology
and Biology, Megan brings three years of experience helping individuals, couples, and
families navigate life’s challenges with clarity and compassion.

Megan works with couples who may feel distant, disconnected, or stuck in difficult cycles.
She understands that every couple arrives with a rich story—one that includes love, grief,
growth, and possibly parenting. Using her training in Gottman Therapy and Emotion
Focused Therapy for couples, Megan helps partners rebuild communication, reignite
friendship, and create the kind of relationship they long for—whether they’re just beginning
or years into their journey together.

For families, Megan is passionate about supporting parents as they make sense of their
children’s behaviour and emotional needs. With training in Emotion Focused Family
Therapy, Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (play therapy), and crisis intervention, she
equips caregivers with tools to better connect with their children and strengthen their
family bond. Megan firmly believes that parents are a child’s greatest resource—and
helping parents means helping the whole family thrive.

Megan also offers individual therapy for adults who are navigating big emotions in a fast paced world. Through a thoughtful blend of Emotion-Focused Therapy, Dialectical
Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), she supports clients in
understanding their emotions, building confidence in their choices, and fostering a more
meaningful life.

My Hobbies
Outside the therapy room, Megan is a self-proclaimed “serial hobbyist” who loves hiking,
off-roading with her husband, painting, crocheting, sewing, and gaming with friends and
family. She values honesty, empathy, loyalty, and connection—and she brings those values
into every session.
Megan knows life can be messy, but she also knows it can be meaningful. She’s here to
walk alongside you—whether you’re looking to reconnect, regulate, or rebuild.
